Winter Faire Updates for October 26th

by admin on October 26, 2012

Your volunteer forms are due in the office next week. All families are asked to participate. You should sign up for one set up or break down shift, and at least one faire shift.
Alternatively you may sign up directly on

Your children should be bringing home a 4-on-1-page flyer for the Winter Faire. You can photocopy or download as many copies as you need to distribute.

If you participate in handing out candy/treats on Halloween, cut out the ads and place them in the Trick or Treat bags. You are greatly helping the school, and the Halloween children find their way to a nurturing environment and magical experience. If you want to go an extra step, roll them into scrolls and tie string around it.

You can distribute these anywhere before the big event! Pass them out to friends, family, people you meet…

The Winter Faire Committee is still in need of help coordinating food and entertainment.  Much of the work is done but we require someone to step in and fill in the gaps.

Enjoy paper mache? we have a job for you!

Student musicians interested in performing for the fair should connect with their music teachers and let Sami know what your plan is.  Particularly interested in Renaissance style music, The Nutcracker Suite, and other wintery music; other is welcome too.

Reminder to turn in your Parent Volunteer form to the Winter Faire mailbox in office. Alternatively you can enter the shifts into SignUp Genius. You should sign up for one set-up or break down shift, and a class shift. Additional shifts are encouraged. Entertainment should be arranged seperately with Sami Rank.
