Gabriel, a student at Prescott High School, has been studying the Classical Mandolin for four years and two of those with lessons. He studies, via Skype, with his teacher, Evan Marshall from Los Angeles. Last summer he attended two symposiums for the mandolin, one of which was directed towards classical mandolin, while the other incorporated many genres.

“I picked up the mandolin because I loved how it sounded and because it is tuned exactly the same as the violin (which I started learning in 4th grade).” ~Gabriel Riegner
