Additional Adult Education Events

On April 15th, our visiting Early Childhood Mentor, Laurie Clark, will talk about If These Walls Could TalkThis will be an experiential workshop with children’s drawings, that will help parents to understand their children in a new and deeper way.
On April 16th, Joan Treadaway will talk about Parenting for the I-Generation: the Dawning of a New Generation of Children.  This is for anyone, but will focus on middle school and high school. See the flier for details.

Both of these events qualify towards a waiting list family’s adult education requirements.

Measles Update

In today’s Arizona Republic there is a front page story on the “Hundreds of Arizona schools skirting the vaccination rules.”   Desert Marigold School was cited as having the lowest vaccination rate of kindergartens in Maricopa County at 53% vaccinated. January Parent Council Meeting Cancelled

The January 8th Parent Council meeting is cancelled and the next meeting will be February 5th. Chairman Keith Donbrosky, has resigned his position due to personal reasons. Kent Tucker has stepped up as interim Chairman until the new Parent Council leadership team is elected for 2015.
