Research Databases

Explore the research databases for thousands of full-text and authoritative books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, essays and articles on all topics–from political science, to physics, to literary criticism, to art.  These databases can be accessed from school or home with an internet connection.

Using Desert Marigold School’s LibraryThing Catalog:

  • Bookmark the URL for our catalog: http://www.librarything.com/catalog/DesertMarigold. By saving this bookmark, you will be able to locate the website quickly and reload it if you accidentally back out.

  • Use the browser back button to navigate through the site; do not use the Home tab, as that will take you back to LibraryThing’s Home page, not Desert Marigold’s.

  • Search for a book:

1.  Find the box that says Search this Library, which is located in the top right hand corner of the screen. If you use the search box above this box you will search the entire LibraryThing site instead of ours.

2.  Type in the author’s name, title, subject or keyword and click search:
